Dhakshra, an acronym representing Dhakshnamoorthy and Chandra, our beloved parents, inspired the establishment of the Dhakshra Educational Charitable Trust in 2012, following our father’s passing. This initiative was born out of a commitment to perpetuate our father’s vision, one deeply rooted in aiding those in need, particularly in the realm of education.

Our father, who served as a Secretary in a cooperative bank in Udayarpalayam, Ariyalur District, dedicated his life to both personal and professional acts of kindness, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those he touched.

The Dhakshra Charitable Trust operates as a non-profit and family-centric organization. Each month, we contribute to the trust account, channeling our efforts toward supporting underprivileged individuals in their pursuit of education. In line with our father’s values, we commemorate his memory each year by awarding deserving students from nearby schools with medals and cash prizes, fostering a culture of motivation and achievement.

Education takes center stage in our outreach efforts. We extend motivational speeches and mentorship programs to schools and colleges in our vicinity, underscoring the transformative power of education. Additionally, the trust collaborates with other organizations, contributing funds to assist those in need beyond our immediate reach.
