𝐊𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 2024 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠. On January 12th, I had the fantastic opportunity to be part of a panel at Symbiosis Institute of Digital & Telecom Management (SIDTM), Pune , talking about Gen AI and how it’s reshaping world, all in front of a vibrant audience.
Our conversation covered how 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, practical challenges, and 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.
The era of Gen AI, also known as Generation AI, refers to a future time when artificial intelligence (AI) has become deeply integrated into society and has a significant impact on the lives of individuals belonging to the younger generation. It envisions a world where AI technologies are not only accessible to a select few but are available and beneficial to all people.
In the era of Gen AI, AI systems are expected to be highly advanced, capable of understanding and interacting with humans in more natural and intuitive ways. They will possess the ability to learn, reason, and problem-solve, making them valuable companions and collaborators in various aspects of daily life.
One of the key goals of the Gen AI era is to ensure that AI technologies are inclusive and accessible to everyone. This means addressing issues of bias and discrimination that may arise from AI systems and ensuring that the benefits of AI are distributed equitably across different communities and socio-economic backgrounds. Efforts will be made to bridge the digital divide and provide equal opportunities for individuals to learn about and use AI technologies.
